 The “Vakantiesalon” was held between February 3rd and 7th 2011 in Brussels. In total there were 113.978 visitors (+2 % 2010) and 786 exhibitors which makes this the largest fair in Belgium.
MTA was present with a stand of 32m2 and this year we organized a joint-marketing activity with Playmobil Benelux. Playmobil offered 10 prizes for the competition worth €1000 total and they also arranged a large display on our stand presenting a Playmbol “holiday village” theme. |

 The Hague is the beating heart of Dutch politics. Though technically not a city, it’s the third largest agglomeration of The Netherlands and it has the royal palaces, embassies, museums and conference venues to go with it. But The Hague is more than past and politics: above all it’s a lively city bursting with events. Last June a couple of Belgian buyers and media took a fam trip through the city centre and its seaside district of Scheveningen. This is BBT Online’s report.

This private club situated next to the impressive Val Duchesse, is a great venue for the smaller, more intimate events such as a presentation lunch. The function rooms on the ground and first floor and the magnificent terrace overlooking the immaculate gardens coupled to excellent cuisine made both events enjoyable for all.
Among the 38 planners, Eric Rozenberg, the brand new Chairman of the MPI Board and the new President of Initiative, Frank Bouckaert. Marianne Hoogeveen gave a short but clear presentation on the Meetings & Events venues in Malta, some of the major hotels (Hilton, Westin and Corinthia) and the DMC Colours of Malta & Air Malta were also represented and several lucky winners will shortly go and discover for themselves what a great nearby (Air Maltla flies daily!) destination Malta is.
