Contour Consult was founded in 2006 by a stroke of various events... What started off as working on a few independent adhoc projects, soon turned into a full time destination marketing company and now we can look back on more than 14 years of business.  


Jean Pierre is a good communicator and a great asset in developing a commercial strategy and sales plan. Jean-Pierre started his career in the tourism branch in Maastricht and then moved to Brussels and joined the incoming Department of Belgium International Travel (now Tui Travel center/BCD Travel) of which he later became department head. After 2 years he was appointed Purchasing/ Facility Manager within the company, responsible for all general purchases, investments and internal procedures. Start and follow-up of new office openings as well as re-styling existing offices was also one of his main tasks. As from 1999 until present, Jean-Pierre obtained sales & marketing experience in different fields of industry. His specialization became account management, export and also business development in Belgium, France and The Netherlands. 


Marianne is a graduate of the Hoge Hotelschool Maastricht (Bachelor of Hotel Administration in 1995) and she has an enthousiastic  "hands on" approach and enjoys creative marketing idea's and concepts. After graduation Marianne moved to Brussels and started her career in the hotel business as a sales manager. She then found her passion working in travel marketing and worked for the NBTC, Nederlands Bureau voor Toerisme & Congresses, and then opened and managed the office of the Malta Tourism Authority in Brussels for more than 18 years.  Marianne takes initiative and she is very result orientated and a punctual person.


In the past 20 years we have proudly worked for and with national tourism organisations, convention bureau's, hotel chains, DMC's, but also airlines, recruitment agencies, governmental bodies.
